Well, it has been quite some time since my last update to the blog and not a whole lot has changed in that amount of time. Progress has really slowed recently as was expected. All of the electrical and plumbing has be completed inside and outside the home. Most of the windows and all exterior doors have been installed. The big window in the dining room is the last one to be added. It is the big hold which you can see in the picture next to the garage.
It took the roofers two weeks to complete our roofing. I heard from the builder and the roofers that it was not a fun job for them to do with all the roof angles involved.
The back french doors have been installed. The doors have built in blinds between the glass which is nice.
The doors shown here are only temporary doors. Our real doors are mostly a stained glass and would be a disaster if installed at this point. The transom over the door was installed last Friday along with the other windows.
This is the window in my study. I am so ready to have this room to my self!

We are hoping to get Sheetrock in and the brick started by the end of the week! The cabinets were all ordered today and we are finalizing the flooring tomorrow. I will be sure to update more as things pick up!
