On Friday, September 9th, workers showed up to dig out the trenches for the footers. Its nice to be able to see the shape of the house and the area of the yard that it will take up.
Julie and her Daddy are standing on the (future) back porch, staring at our (future) swimming pool.

The cellphone camera obviously does not do it justice but I love the sunset view from this lot!
